We begin with the development of teachers \u0301competences and their self-management and leadership. We design the guidelines for primary schools that choose the transformation in the Learner-Centred Approach (LCA), where we follow Gabriela Lojova\u0301 \u0301s 7 key principles of LCA &#8211; active learning, content (relevant knowledge), cognitive + affective domains, approach to learners (acceptance, encouragement), positive learning atmosphere, teacher \u0301s role and learners \u0301role. This project is built on three key interconnected frameworks: implementing the LCA in line with the model of excellence based on the EFQM model and the Harmony \u0301s Learn &amp; Lead self-management and development idea developed in several Erasmus+ projects. These perfectly fit the developmental project focused on quality assurance led by FECU and other projects of the partners.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>The main objectives of the project are:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">to increase the quality of education through the implementation of the learner-centred approach,<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">to develop excellent schools based on the EFQM model of excellence,<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">to develop the Learn &amp; Lead functional self-management and development pathway of a teacher within the school environment.<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>The desired main objectives will be achieved by the following specific objectives:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>1.<\/strong><\/span> Create the LCA Trainer Competence Framework. This will comprise of set of core competences of the learner-centred approach, the definition of developmental phases of teachers and the quality standards for each phase which altogether form the career path of teachers and teacher-trainers.<br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>2.<\/strong> <\/span>LCA Self-Assessment Sheet for a Teacher<br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>3.<\/strong> <\/span>Develop LCA Guidelines for Primary schools.<br \/><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>4.<\/strong><\/span> Create curricula of three study subjects called \u201eLeaner-centred approach 1B, 2B and 1M\u201c. 1B for student -teachers in their 2nd year of the Batchelor \u0301s study, 2B for student-teachers in their 3rd year of the Batchelor \u0301s study and 1M in their first year of the Master \u0301s study.<br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>5.<\/strong><\/span> Create a curriculum of a study subject called \u201eSelf-management \u2013 Learn &amp; Lead\u201c for student-teachers in their final year of the Master \u0301s study.<br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>6.<\/strong> <\/span>Create a of a learning teacher-training programme called &#8220;Application of the learner-centred approach&#8221;<br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>7.<\/strong><\/span> Create a of a learning teacher-training programme called &#8220;Teacher Self-development and management &#8211; Learn &amp; Lead&#8221;.<br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>8.<\/strong><\/span> Train the in-service teachers in the \u201eLearner-centred approach\u201c training course<br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>9.<\/strong><\/span> Train the in-service teachers in the &#8220;Self-management \u2013 Learn&amp;Lead&#8221; training course<br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>10. <\/strong><\/span>Train managers of all types of schools in the &#8220;Building excellent schools based on the EFQM model of excellence&#8221;<br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>11.<\/strong><\/span> Train the LCA trainers who will work with the trained teachers in their schools after the project finishes.<br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>12.<\/strong><\/span> Organize two LCA International Conferences.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Target groups of this project are the following<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1.<\/span><\/strong> pre-service teachers (students in Faculties\/Institutions of Education = future teachers)<br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>2.<\/strong><\/span> in-service teachers (at and primary schools)<br \/><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3.<\/span><\/strong> in-service teacher-managers (at and primary schools)<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Needs of the target groups<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>1.<\/strong><\/span> pre-service teachers (students in Faculties\/Institutions of Education = future teachers)students in bachelor \u0301s study &#8211; they need to study the theory about the learner-centred approach and gain some basic skills during their University study in specialized LCA study subjects students in master \u0301s study &#8211; they need to apply the gained skills and knowledge of LCA into their teaching, and develop their competencies in model schools both in their teaching approaches as well as their communication and leadership skills<br \/><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2.<\/span><\/strong> in-service teachers (at universities and primary schools) update and upgrade their teaching practices, widen their knowledge about the learner-centred approach, advance their self-awareness,<br \/>self-management, social and relationship management via the Learn &amp; Lead programme<br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>3.<\/strong><\/span> in-service teacher-managers (at universities and primary schools widen their knowledge in the building excellent schools based on the EFQM model and help them create such a working environment in which the application of the learner-centred approach will be possible.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This project and its main objective are valid throughout the whole Europe and therefore we see its benefits for all the partners by building international, and professional networking of teachers, managers and teacher-trainers in all the partner countries.
